Recent Incident - Server

Many of you may or may not know of the incident that occurred on the forums. Yesterday, users were prompted with a popup that redirected them to an outside community. We handle this problem as quickly as possible in order to keep our user's privacy safe. We have fully investigated this incident and have concluded that nothing was stolen during this incident. Our database has all user information encrypted and stored in a safe area. In the coming weeks, RSWebclients will be implementing more safety precautions in order to stop any incidents similar to this.

Abrion's Rank Removal
In regards to this incident, we have decided to remove Abrion's rank due to security reasons. With Abrion constantly traveling, this causes a big security threat for RSW. We hope you understand.


One of RSWebclients' main goals has always been to keep users safe and secure. We are deeply sorry for any problems that have been caused. Feel free to comment below or contact an administrator about any questions.

Staff Changes & Site updates - Server

Staff Changes
As many of you have noticed our chatbox staff team has slowly become smaller and smaller. With the recent resignation of Aimbot, Kieran has decided to reset the chatbox mods and compiled a new list of moderators. He has examined each and every user who was temped and then the Dev team took the list and determined who should be given the position of chatbox moderator.

The following members have been promoted:

4. Tim
5. Tyler
6. Kryptoz

Site Updates:

The entire Dev team has been working hard to make the entire site a lot more user friendly. Here are some of the updates that have been made:

- Info Page: The info page has been reconstructed to go with the current design of the website. Users are able to find what they are looking for a lot faster than before. We hope many more users will take advantage of this opportunity and use the info page in order to gain many more players.

- Things are smaller?: You might notice that some things on the site have become a bit smaller. We've done this in order to keep the site exactly the same but pack a bit more information into it. This change effects all users.

- Bugs and glitches have been fixed. Remember to report any bugs or glitches you might find!

- Kieran has created a guide to help users who are having a hard time with the upgrades for their webclient. Feel free to use it at anytime you wish. Click Here for the guide

We're always looking for new things to change to the site. Let us know what you think of the updates as well as some suggestions.

Two new trials and new loaders - Server

Chatbox Trial Moderators:
We've decided to go ahead and continue the chatbox trial moderators because many people enjoyed it. Sam has come up with two other members of the community who have been chosen to be a Chatbox Trial Moderator (CTM). These members are:

1. Jordan
2. Patronus (Truffle Shuffle Man)

They will be put to the test to see whether or not they are fit for the job. After, members of the community will decide on whether or not they should continue to be a moderator on RSWebclients.

New Loaders:
RSWebclients has been working hard to be compatible with just about any server out there. We've taken a step forward in this goal by creating more loaders. You're able to select one of these loaders from "Create a webclient" or just by editing your webclient to choose from the loaders. Here are the new loaders:

- Deathlypvpz V4
- Lost Legacy
- PKXILE 2
- PKXILE Reborn

Many people have requested these loaders and this is why they've been added. Feel free to request more loaders in the Request section of the forums and they should be added soon. Also if you come across a bug within the clients please report it immediately.

Attention to all staff and users - Server

As many of you know, a community that we have been competing with has recently closed (RS-PS). We have thought about this long and hard and I'm sad to say that we are closing as well. All this time the community has been a motivator to keep us working and now that it's gone we can't really beat anything. I for one will not have much time to manage the site due to college next year. This will play a huge role in my life. This being said, Kieran and I decided it was right that the users of the community to about this while the process begins. You may notice some features of the site become inaccessible.

We've also noticed that staff have also become quite "lazy" with moderating the chat. In order to get rid of this, we've decided that we will be demoting inactive staff within this week to fix this problem. Sam is also currently working on a bot that will moderate the chat while the entire staff problem is resolved. We are hoping to keep the Xat chatbox even after the site is completely offline.

We are completely sorry for any inconvenience that we may have caused. We just don't have the time to manage the site any more. We thank you for choosing RSWebclients and enjoy it till the end. Please check back soon for the exact date for when RSWebclients will be closing (Based on payments).
